March is Women’s History Month so I figured I’d create a playlist honoring some of my favorite female musicians. This was way harder than I expected it to be! I had to stop myself at 16 because there is just so much music out there that is being (or has been) created by some pretty amazing individuals. Many of my favorite artists that do not appear on this playlist for fear of it becoming hours long! Pink, Diana Ross, Shakira, Orianthi, Lizzo, Sia and Nancy Wilson...just to name a few. (I use the word “few” loosely here!) And even though I tried to represent as many different genres as I could, I barely scratched the surface of blues and broadway and classical music! Ugh! You see why I had to finally stop at 16! I’m sure I’ll find some way to get all of these ladies onto a playlist soon. For now, enjoy (today’s version!) of my Women Who Rock playlist!
