Music Library: A Music-Themed Subscription Box For Kids
These days there are educational subscription boxes for just about anything: science, cooking, geography, arts and crafts-oh the plethora of arts and crafts boxes! But what if there was an option that explored all of these subjects AND was based on an entirely over-looked subject as well?
I decided to create a subscription box that would introduce children to the world of music, musicians and their stories. Using music-themed children’s books as our guide, each month we’ll set off to learn about music-playing it, singing it, listening to it-and we’ll discover new and exciting topics inspired by those books. We might find ourselves identifying constellations in the night sky, and yes, maybe we’ll do a craft or two! You don’t have to know how to play an instrument or read music or be an expert in any of the topics we explore. Each monthly Music Library box will be designed to enhance the reading experience.
