Symphony or Orchestra?
What’s the difference?

A symphony is a piece of music with specific sections (called movements). There is a “formula” to follow composers follow when they write a symphony. An orchestra is a group of musicians. A symphony orchestra (sometimes just called a symphony for short) is an orchestra with all the instruments and musicians needed (about 100!) to play a symphony.
